It's evolution, baby!
I was catching the train home today, trying to read and not to fall asleep, when this guy sits down behind me and starts listening to his doof doof shite heaps loud on his portable stereo.
So, feeling at the end of my tether, I turn around and stare at him. Nothing. No reaction, he just keeps nodding along to his music. Everyone in the carriage visibly has the shits with him.
After a few more minutes I get all worked up again and turn back around to glare at him.
"Do you mind?"
He just ignores me.
"MAAAAAATE!" I shout, "Do you mind? Could you turn it down a bit?"
He still ignores me!
By now I'm getting really angry, so I reach over and turn the stereo off.
He just smiles a bit and turns it back on.
I switch it off now, with so much force that the stereo shakes and nearly falls off his lap onto the floor.
He smiles again and turns it back on!
So I calmly turn away again, wait for the next stop, and then whip around and grab his stereo. I run up the steps and throw it out the doors just before they close and the train pulls away! I walk back into the carriage, everyone is grinning at me and nodding. One woman claps her hands, another guy actually cheers me (!)
"My friend" says the stereo listener calmly, "You are going to have to pay me for that stereo".
I'm incredulous, "No, YOU are going to have to pay ME for wasting my time with your bullshit".
The guy gets all riled up "You wanna fight me cunt? Ay? Ay!? You wanna go then? C'mon cunt, lets' go!" The guy steps out from his seat and goes to deck me, but before he can reach me two big guys sitting on the other side of the aisle stand up and grab him under his shoulders. He starts kicking and screaming, some other people get up and hoist up his legs. Soon about 7 or 8 people are carrying him up the steps and to the doors. The train stops at the next station and they empty him out on the platform! As the doors close I wave goodbye to him, hearing his fading words... "This isn't my fucking station!"
