Billy’s quest for nutrition continued…
Salvos employment plus are a fucking joke.
For some reason I got switched over to them from the other place I was at, without anyone telling me. They rang me up and went "Excuse me, you have to come down here NOW if you want to continue getting your dole!" and I replied, "I haven't received ANY money from Centrelink for two months because I'm doing casual work at the moment, I'm only still registered just in case the work dries up, which it hasn't".
Their reply... "Oh, well you still have to come down"
Me, "No I don't, I can't even get there in your hours, I'm working all week".
Them... "Send us a letter then"
So I did that, sent them a letter, and then they ring me back, all angry and shit, "Where are you, you have to come down here and do an interview with us!"
What the fuck? So I organized to get some time off work (SEE HOW FUCKED UP THIS IS? I HAD TO GIVE UP WORK TO SATISFY AN EMPLOYMENT AGENCY) to go down there and I wait around and eventually the fatarse salvos lady takes me into her office, and sits me down.
LADY: Now, what type of work are you looking for?
ME: What? I'm already working.
LADY: Why are you here then?
ME: Because you guys told me I had to come down. I haven't received benefits for months.
LADY: Oh.
Lady leaves, I sit in office for fifteen minutes contemplating ways of destroying the Salvation Army. She returns.
LADY: You can go now. You don't need to be here.
So another week goes by, and they ring me again.
"Where are you BLAH BLAH BLAH" same shit as before. I go right off at the old cunt on the phone.
"I DON'T HAVE TO DO ANYTHING. YOU GUYS MADE ME COME DOWN AND I DIDN'T NEED TO BE THERE, BLAH BLAH BLAH I'M NOT EVEN ON CENTRELINK ANYMORE"
The guy on the other end of the phone is still angry! Even though he's in the fucking wrong. He says I have to come down still.
I go down, they act or confused as to why I'm there again, I barely manage to avoid RIPPING THEIR FUCKING HEADS OFF.
FUCK THE SALVATION ARMY. I never liked them to begin with. If it was up to me I would've been with the Employment agency I was with before I got switched to the Salvos but for some reason Centrelink made me switch over to the Salvos. I hate the Salvos, I've always hated the Salvos. They scab money off guilty people so they can fund anti-abortion, anti-euthanasia and anti-homosexuality campaigns. They're pathetic wretched excuses for moral decency and need to be punched in the face, repeatedly.
Well, maybe those last couple of sentences are taking things a bit too far but, ARGHHHH! is it part of their mission statement to be so incompetent?
