Dear Woolworths
I was shopping in your Penrith store the other day and I thought to myself ‘Wow, a lot of people sure do shop here!’ and it got me thinking even more, maybe I could operate my own Woolworths?
I was wondering how I could go about opening my own franchise of Woolworths. There’s a guy in Penrith who owns about three McDonalds branches courtesy of franchising and I imagine he has made quite a bit of money so I was thinking maybe I could do the same thing with your great company Woolworths.
I have noticed a few areas that don’t have a Woolworths and could surely use one. My Dad has a house in Putty, about 100 kms or so north of Penrith and I think the community there could really use a Woolworths. Maybe we could build one? I was thinking I might also open a Woolworths in the ADI site so I could be ready for all the houses that will eventually be built there. I could get the jump on them, so to speak.
Anyway, how would I go about franchising a Woolworths? Obviously, I’ll start with just one and then build up from there. I think this could be a really great opportunity for both of us.
